Appreciated! While it felt almost like an adaptogen to me in those years (enhanced ability to deal with stress), the Western research does indicate it increases LH, and inhibits FSH. In other words, it works with menstrual cycles mainly, shifting the balance from estrogen in favor of progesterone.
